Stop the Foreclosure — Save Your Credit!

The other day I looked at a house in a neighboring town, evaluated it, ran the numbers and decided to make an offer.  The house needed some work, but it had character, and if I could get it at a discount, it could be a good deal.

I sent in an offer, through my Real Estate agent.  The next day we got a reply from the listing agent informing us that the house was going to auction the next day!  This made me mad!  Angry on behalf of the poor homeowners who were losing their home!

I was angry with this agent.  Did this agent not know that you can work with the bank to stop this foreclosure?  Right up to the time this address is read off at the actual auction.  We can keep them from having a foreclosure on their credit!

After a homeowner gets their foreclosure notice, the house goes to auction in 21 days!  With this kind of pressure, you don’t want to just put the house on the MLS and hope somebody calls!
